The Office of the Controller of Examinations (CoE) plays a vital role in the academic framework of the institution and forms an integral part of its autonomous functioning. Established in 2026 following the conferment of autonomous status to the institution, the CoE Office ensures the effective implementation of examination processes in accordance with academic regulations. The office is responsible for assessing the continuous learning process of students by maintaining high quality and standards in the examination process while ensuring strict confidentiality.
The primary responsibility of this office encompasses the arrangement, preparation, scheduling, conducting, publishing, and maintaining of comprehensive records of Continuous Internal Assessments (CIA) and End Semester Examinations for all UG and PG programmes offered by the College. Beyond organizing exams, the CoE independently manages the announcement of the academic calendar, processes evaluation scripts, compiles grades, and declares results systematically following formal approval from the Result Passing Board (RPB). Additionally, the office issues essential student credentials such as Statements of Grade and Consolidated Statements of Grade, addresses student grievances regarding examination valuations, and coordinates directly with the affiliated university by submitting the list of successful candidates and their Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for the final issuance of Provisional and Degree Certificates. Operating as a pillar of institutional growth, the office also plans and executes developmental activities under the guidance of the Board of Studies, Academic Council, and Governing Council.
