Mr. AKILAN A
B.E., M.E., MISTE., (Ph.D.)
HOD (i/c) - Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Mr. Akilan A is currently serving as the Head of the Department, Computer Science and Engineering. He is responsible for overseeing the academic activities, administrative responsibilities, and overall achievements of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He is a dedicated teaching professional with over 16 years of academic experience.
He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2005 from Anna University, and completed his Postgraduate degree in 2009 from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Anna University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D.
His core academic interests include Theory of Computation, Compiler Design, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, and Computer Architecture, along with related interdisciplinary areas. He has presented several research papers at national and international conferences. He is also a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
