The SC/ST welfare committee was started with an objective to enable them to live in society with dignity and self-esteem and without fear or violence or suppression from the dominant castes and to improve the socio-economic conditions of the SCs and STs. This committee also helps the students with psychological issues achieve reconciliation with the self and the other.
